Meet the Staff


George Hill, DVM

GeorgeDr. Hill is a fifth generation citizen of Floresville.  Dr. Hill graduated from Texas A&M University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.  In 1981, he received a Masters in Veterinary Medicine and attained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.  After graduating Dr. Hill moved to his hometown of Floresville and opened up his practice.

He and his wife Michele live on their ranch with their two sons, Christian and Jacob. The boys attend San Antonio Christian School in San Antonio and all are members of First Baptist Church in Floresville, where Dr. Hill teaches 4th and 5th grade Sunday School.  The family household also consists of 9 dogs, 8 cats, 3 horses and a parrot.

 

Michele Hill, Office Manager

MicheleMy name is Michele and I take care of the administration of the hospital. This is a full-time job that I do on a part-time basis. I am also responsible for addressing client concerns so please feel free to e-mail me or call me if the need should ever arise. I pride our animal hospital in treating your pet like it belongs to us. We thank you for your patronage.

 

 

 

Patty, Veterinary Technician

Hi my name is Patty. I have worked for Dr. Hill for about 10 years. I currently only work on Saturdays and will be working every other Friday. I enjoy working with Dr. Hill and the rest of the staff. I’m great at making people smile so If you feeling down stop by and see me!

 

Jennifer, Receptionist/ Veterinary Technician Assistant

JenniferMy name is Jennifer and I’m a technician assistant/receptionist (floater) here at OHAH.  I work the hospital from front to back.  I help with the phone calls, assisting and educating clients, and checking clients in and out.  I also help the technicians in the exam rooms and recovering patients after surgery.
I have lived in Floresville for almost 11 years.   So I have had an opportunity to get to know many members of our little community.   I have a handsome baby boy that fills my life with so much love.  So if you’re stopping by; make sure you tell me hi… I never mind lending a helping hand and I love to talk!!!

 

 

 

Angela, Technician Assitant

AngelaHi, I’m Angela and I started here as a volunteer during the summer of my senior year during the summer of my senior year and soon became a part-time employee.  As an assistant I assist the Veterinarian and the technicians in any way that is needed.  I also help educate clients and give hands on care to our patients.  I absolutely love working here with my co-workers.  Some days its tough, but the drive that I have to help our patients and clients make it all worthwhile.
I plan to attend Texas A&M to pursue my doctoral degree in Veterinary Medicine.  Working here gives me the hands on experience that I need to pursue my dream.

 

Angel, Maintenance Supervisor/Kennel Assistant

AngelMy name is Angel.  I am the kennel assistant. I have been working for Dr. Hill for the past 2 years. I work every day one-on-one with the dogs and cats. My responsibilities are making sure the dogs and cats have plenty of food, water, and that they get let out for plenty of play time.  I also make sure that the hospital stays clean and tidy inside and out. I also help the technicians when needed. 

 

 

 

Monster, Chief of Security/Hospital Greeter

MonsterHi, My name is Monster. I have been chief of security for the past 5 years. I roam the clinic to make sure everyone is treated fairly. I love to monitor the front office because that is when I get my pats on the back for being such a good greeter. Stop by and I will give you a free "cat scan".

 

 

 

 

 

Nala, Assistant to Chief of Security

Hi, I'm Nala. I am in charge of the conference room and the grieving room. I make sure that everyone has been taken care of. I used to live at Dr. Hill's house but Monster needed some extra help at the hospital so I volunteered.
