* Recommendations for foals and weanlings assumes that the mares were regularly vaccinated against specific diseases listed.


** Recommendations for yearlings and older horses assumes the primary series was completed early in life, otherwise follow label directions for primary immunization.


*** For pre-foaling boosters for mares, administer injectable inactivated vaccines rather than modified live intranasal vaccines.

1. Venezuelan Equine Encephalo myelitis (VEE) also recommended for horses in border areas of TX, NM, AZ, CA

2. Vaccination of mares pre-breeding and 4-6 weeks before foaling with EHV-1 and EHV-4 recommended

3. Recommended in areas where wildlife rabies is a problem

4. Recommended when risk of exposure is high

5. Start initiation of primary series before 6 mos. of age if risk of exposure is high.
